Hello open-minded people,
I'm from Hungary. I'm a desktop Linux user.
I need your help. I have a Jornada 565, bought for the sole purpose to
install Linux on it and experiment. The only problem is that I don't
have a serial cable or cradle (I have USB), what's more, it seems that
I could not make one for myself. (I tried hacking it from a 12-pin
connector supplied with a USB cable and a regular RS-232 DB9 cable.)
Anyone in Europe, could you borrow or sell me a cable or cradle? I'm
open for any solution, including swapping my USB cradle for a serial.
Next Monday I'm in München. Can I find something there?
I would not be asking you otherwise if I had another chance, but I ran
out of ideas. Jornadas have no support in Hungary. Users have USB
cradles.
bootldr is waiting for a better day...
Thank you!
Gabor
