[jornada] jornada 568 bricked

I have a fully bricked jornada 568. After an upgrade, I finally lost even
the genuine bootloader. I was glad to see that a solution based on JTAG
port has been provided by John Ankcorn to deal with such a disaster. But I
am a newbie in Linux, and I am unable to load the short.o module (please see
following example for Mandrake. With the most recent Debian distribution, I
have also compilation problems with more unresolved items.)

I have been able to load another Jflash version (but for H3600,
http://axl.freeyellow.com/iPAQ/jtag.htm ) which showed me that my hardware
connections on JTAG port are OK (SA1110 is detected, readmem is ok, just
flashwriting doesn't work, due to specific write enabling instructions on
the 568)

Could you help me please?

Regards,
