Hi Emiliano,

The current j56x kernel is indeed missing some ppp stuff. I've created a
kernel feed but as I've just noticed it is broken. I'm going to rebuild that
and I'll let you know.
For now I suggest that you get a PC connection using a USB cradle/cable which
does seem to work well. If you don't have a USB cable/cradle right now the
only possibility you have then is to build your own zImage using the kernel
source from hh.org cvs.

To get a java vm for opie you can try jeode or something else from sun.
