(I am also newbie with Jornada 568, so other, senior, members of the
list may give you better info.....)

How brick is your brick ? Bootldr can not support the jornada with LCD
interface yet, only with serial console (and maybe USB). Also, I am not
sure if the binary versions of bootldr have support compiled in for
jornada (hope the maintainer/guy who compiles these images of bootldr
can reply this to this question).

Step 1: Have you tried connecting to a serial console (such as minicom,
hyperterm) ?
If you can log into bootldr this way, then you are saved. If not see
step 2:

Step 2: Get jtag up and running.

If you have any problems with this, i can probably assist - because I
have it up and running on my device.
