Hi John;

If suspend/resume was working at some point,
can you tell us what kernel/patchlevel it worked at?

Is it reproducable, or was it a case of "it worked when i tried it"
and not for the rest of us? :)

As several people have suggested, just getting backlight off/on
reliably would save a lot of battery :)

Also,
is there any possibility of using the mic for audio input?
I have not had any luck playing with mixers, and it appears
that sound is output-only for now. Is this a driver issue?
Can it be fixed, or is it likely to be a configuration issue on my end?

Unrelated to linux issues, are the battery for the 720 and 728
interchangeable? I'd feel a lot more comfortable, with a spare or two,
and as the 720 is out of production, getting a newer battery would be
nice.

Thanks for all your help!
