Hi,
I just followed the instructions on
http://intimate.handhelds.org/docs/install-howto/. I downloaded the
initrd from the 2nd page (I modified it as they describe it on page 4 to
get my network card supported). Then, instead of following page 3 I just
unpacked the intimate20011113.tar.bz2 to the ext3 partition (found it
with google). On my 3630 with 1gb CF this worked, including X and so on.
On 256mb CF it doesn't work, although it looks like there is still
enough free space. But on 256mb CF I could install it manually (follow
page 3, same initrd). But after this I had to install a windowmanager
and other packages with apt... that is why I modified the initrd first
in order to have network. Good luck ...
