yeah I was trying to do everything I could and keep it as close to
debian as possible ...
If that gets you closer to familiar, why dont they just do that? get
the .debs and deb->ipk the tools are already written :P I am just lazy
so that is how I think, rather than trying to maintain my own
packages... hehe

I was using the beta_installer script (mostly by hand because I wanted
to tweak some stuff along the way.

That is a problem more than with intimate :)

I will look at those but small problem.. 3800s are SA where I have a
5500 PXA.. the xserver-tiny-h3600 caused me a little concern as well.
But I havent been able to get all the packages even, so it is going to
take work to get intimate to install based on the beta_installer, but
perhaps the other URLs that you provided would be more helpful.

I have actually read stuff by you off ibot :)
I dont have a CF wanted to keep my pccard slots clear for add ons,
although that is starting to look like a moot point now becuase SD
drivers are just too unstable.. I can pick up a nice 32x or faster CF
1GB for like $35 so I may do that.. Hmm.. time to set that up now..
maybe swing a larger one.. hehe
