I'd just add that I tried to get straight Debian linux
installed on a PXA-based iPaq, and Klaus' version
installs much more easily, largely because he's done a
great deal of work to make the install user-friendly.
The only reason I haven't done more with it is that I
wasn't very impressed with the speed difference of a
400MHz PXA compared with a 200MHz StrongArm, and
Intimate already runs on the 38xx series. I've been
told HP's hardware is changing so quickly that it's
hard for linux to keep up.
