PPP and Proxy install?

Hello,
I wanted to know if I could get the latest EXT3 installer file (Not ReiserFS) for Intimate to run it through familiar for my PPP connection..
I also want to know if I can use a proxy..
I'd like some feedback on this, as I really want to install Intimate.
