Sorry, I meant xmonobut.

I'm not sure there is an intimate unstable. You may want to leave the
intimate woody archive in place.

All mirrors should have the same packages, at least if they're more
than a day old.
Have you run apt-get update?
I've found that many packages in the arm unstable archive are
uninstallable. I guess they don't get built as quickly as on the i386
architecture. Sometimes I have been able to force installs by manually
downloading packages and installing them with dpkg, or by specifying
the version, as in "apt-get install xbase-clients/unstable". IIRC,
this has not been the case for xbase-clients, I think I got it by just
doing "apt-get update; apt-get -u dist-upgrade".
If you don't get apt-get to cooperate, you could use dpkg to install
the package at
ftp://ftp.du.se/debian/pool/main/x/xfree86/xbase-clients_4.2.1-12.1_arm.deb
For me, apt-cache search xbase-clients shows the above URL.
