I'd guess the standard blackbox in Debian is set up to show the menus
if you right click, which is kind of hard to do with a stylus. (If
you don't use the XRmouse applet.) There may be some config file
where you can change that, if I'm right.

I have xrandr on my system. It's in xbase-clients version 4.2.1-12.1.
Maybe it's not available in the version from stable. I've upgraded my
system to Debian unstable.

That turns xstroke on and off. I'd prefer the way it's done in
familiar...
