blackbox

  I've been playing around with blackbox, and hadn't realized at first that
there are two different version -- blackbox and blackbox-ipaq. The latter, when
installed, works okay, has the popup menus, etc., but looks a bit crude,
definitely nothing like the screenshots at
http://intimate.handhelds.org/screens.html
  The former, blackbox_0.6.2.x, looks much nicer, but the menus don't work, or
even show up. Is this just broken or what do I have to do or install to fix it?
  Also, xrandr is missing. I've installed xbase-clients and xbase-clients-ipaq,
which should contain it, but it's not there. So when I try the rotate menu under
blackbox-ipaq, it can't work.
  And what is the little "on/off" icon in the upper left corner of the screen
for?
