So is h3600-utils the package needed to supply the missing fonts and the
xrdb/xset and other things that don't start? I made some progress last night,
don't know why "apt-get dist-upgrade" wouldn't work the other day, it seemed to
be a dns problem, but the /etc/resolv.conf was fine, and when I tried it last
night it worked great. I got the package blackbox after that, and changed the
/etc/init.d/x once again to call that as it did originally, and that seems to be
more like a window manager, at least there's a box at the bottom of the screen
which seems to switch workspaces. Also got the ssh and lftp packages and got
them working okay, and rxvt, which, when started from the serial console, pops
up an rxvt terminal session on the ipaq screen. Of course, I can't actually do
anything with it, since there's no virtual keyboard. Tried getting xkbd, but
that seg faults when I start it (from the serial console).
Does anyone have a list of just what packages are needed to get X working
properly? I tried upgrading xserver-tiny, but that didn't fix anything, also
tried an "apt-get install xserver-tiny --fix-broken", but no joy.
