I just but the zimage and intrd on the first small (35meg) vfat partition,
dropped back to 2.18.x bootldr, and booted the vfat partition from the
bootloader then (from the serial console) ran intimate-install.
Where did you get stuck? I couldn't get it to boot at all with the 2.20.4
bootldr.
