Tristan:
The handhelds cluster seems to run with this configuration.
I tried to copy their setup exactly but was unable to make any
bootloader recognize the addonics hd drive.
I am using a 3835 and a brand newdual pcmcia sleeve
(with the HP logo).
The bootloaders I tried were
bootldr-sa-2.20.4.bin.gz
bootldr-2.18.54.bin.gz
bootldr-2.19.75.bin.gz
In the end I got the thing to work with a 512MB CF flash drive, though.
My feeeling is that it probably would be best
to avoid both the CF and the external hd drive and instead
install the basic stuff (/boot,/bin,/lib,/sbin,/etc) onto the built-in
flash and nfs mount the rest (/usr,/home).
This way one could get away with buying a cheaper single slot sleeve .
