Re: installation experience part 2

I finally made some progress with the intimate installation.
Playing around with different flash card and different (!) flash to
pcmcia adapters I can now boot intimate on both my 36xx and 38xx ipaqs
from one and the same CF. The intimate bootstrapping had a few rough
spots which are probably the reason for the remaining problems I have.

On my 36xx sytem I cannot log in through the serial console (see log
below). Maybe this has to do with some MAKEDEV failures I encountered
 for serial device.

On my 38xx system I do not even get that far and the fs mounting fails
(see below) BTW: my /etc/fstab looks like:

/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part2 / ext3
 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1 /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1
 /mnt/dos vfat defaults 0 0 /dev/mtdblock/1
       /mnt/flash jffs2 defaults 0 0 proc
             /proc proc defaults 0 0 tmpfs
                   /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

Can anybody help?

Robert
