Okay, I redid the vfat /dev/hda1 partition as 32meg, and I've tried
both the initrd and zimage from the initmate.handhelds.org/install dir
*and* the initrd and zImage (and changed the param to reflect zImage)
from the 3800 dir. No joy.
Is this the bootldr-2.20.4 issue then? Where do you get the 2.19x
version, I only found a 2.18x version on the familiar site. And I'm not
at all sure about trying to install bootldr with my usb cradle, per the
install docs, can't it be done from a CF like I did it originally?
