Is there anyway that you or anyone else would be able to, and willing to put up your successfully configured intimate image for grabs( such as doing a dd of hda to an image and then we just dd it onto ours and boot). I have spent months trying to get an intimate install that I can compile on set up and have been having no luck at all.
Thanks

Perhaps this is why the web page says 2.20.x is not compatible with
intimate. They also say they are investigating it, but
there's not detail, but the intimate site changes only very rarely
(and with no specifics, it's hard to pitch in :-( ).
(Heck, they don't fix it even when very specific known show-stopper
errors in it exist, like the partition size issue and the blackbox vs
matchbox issue!)
I've given up on intimate's official install method in favor of
the debootstrap-on-familiar method ( a merge of
http://handhelds.org/projects/ipaqsetup.html, third method, at
the bottom and the official debian install manual for arm,
debootstrap method, starting with familiar) for the base system,
and then coming back to the intimate project for the ipaq-specific
stuff. It's complicated, but at least I can understand each
step well enough to recover from an error.
The intimate stuff is so cool (the screenshot gallery sold
me right away), it's a shame it's such a pain to get it installed.
