Installation help needed. (iPaq 3670)

Hi there. I'm trying to install Intimate on my iPaq 3670 (Familiar 0.6.1 in
flash, bootldr 2.18.54, 1Gb Microdrive, LinkSys EC2T, Compaq dual-PCMCIA
adapter) and am having some difficulties that I was hoping I could be
walked through.

I get through the install of Intimate, but when it booted I got X with no
windows, window-manager - nothing but the cursor. So, I proceeded to
"apt-get install" a bunch of packages in an attempt to get X working:
xfonts-75dpi, xbase-clients, xstroke, xkbd, rxvt-aa. "task-x" wasn't a
valid package, so I was at a bit of a loss. Anyhow, I can get a cursor,
start up an xterm from a serial console, but then the screen goes to sleep
almost immediately and I can't wake it back up.

[Note: /etc/resolv.conf had to be edited manually before I could get DNS
working, as it was linked to a non-existent file.]

So, before I go much further, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of
what I might have done wrong, or if I've just stumbled across a hiccup in
the installation procedure.

Pasted below are the messages I get now during reboot.

Thanks for your help,

Paul.
