    Thank you very much for your kind response.
    Unfortunately, I have been having lots of trouble with my wireless connection; I can never finish downloading the images required and the connection just simply timed out.
    I'm trying to overcome my wireless woes by using an ethernet card instead. I have an ethernet card by TDK (model: LAK-CD021BX); the card is recognized; it gives valid responses to cardctl ident; and I saw the card being specified in /etc/pcmcia/config. However, the kernel just don't load the module required and I cannot get it to work.
    I believe I'll be a lot more productive if I can just get the card to working. I'll be much grateful if anyone can give me a clue on how to get the card to work for the ipaq.
