installl success

After much battling managed to get the latest version of intimate installed on
my ipaq h3600 with 1gb microdrive roughly following the install page on the
web site.
Roughly:
1) Installed familiar 0.6 and the 0.5-1 intimateboot ipkg as described at the
top of the install page
2)Ran mkdir -p /tmp/intimate && cd /tmp/intimate && wget
http://intimate.handhelds.org/installer/installer && sh installer
from familiar.
3)Went with the defaults pretty much all the way except didn't install
intimateboot at the end.
4)Created the file "params" in /boot containing:
set linuxargs="noinitrd root=/dev/mtdblock1 init=linuxrc.intimate
console=ttySA0"
5)Edited the /linuxrc.intimate file, really just commenting out the section
that gives you various system options during boot (this wouldn't respond to
any keypresses I made, effectivley hanging the ipaq), and setting the
"action" variable to intimate, just before it's checked in the main "if"
statement.
6)This get's me into a basic intimate install ,but with no X, ssh and other
stuff. Turns out the installer script comments out installing a whole raft of
packages because of some broken packages apparently. Just open it up in your
web browser and use apt-get to install whichever of these you want.
7)I installed some other stuff too, apt-get makes this very nice, though I've
been having problems with corruption of the "available" database. Sound
required me to "modprobe hc3600-uda1341", but this would only work after I
ran "update-modules". Also matchbox runs, but doesn't display anything on the
screen.

I didn't document as I went along so this is all
to-the-best-of-my-recollection", but if people have trouble with the above I
should be able to fill in any blanks I left.

P.S. Does anyone know what the name of the package is that lets you configure
the touch-screen positioning?
