Okay... managed to do some stuff with this over the weekend. I've made all
the relevant files available at:

        http://reflect.wiretap.net/~jhohertz/intimate/

This image has a lot of things changed in it:

- put back the 3600 microcontroller driver in the module load list. (just
  cuz i don't need it doesn't mean others won't.)

- uses /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0 instead of /dev/discs/disc0
        - sidesteps the issue of MMC card displacing the device nodes
        - both linuxrc, and the fstab output in intimate-install was
          updated to reflect this.

- has a new kernel built from the 2.4.18-rmk3-stable branch in CVS, not
  based on the default config
        - almost anything that could be a module, has become a module
        - any driver that I could think of as being usefull was built (IE:
          PCMCIA SCSI cards)

- add jbd/ext3 and the sound modules to the module load list.

- uses the Xfbdev rather than Xipaq, as the latter gave me issues, and the
  former works great.

Works great for me... tho i've not tested the installer, as I don't have
another PCMCIA hard drive to test with. I'd be interested to hear if this
actually works for anyone else. :)
