You can run intimate on 3800 using chroot. just make sure the reiserfs
module is loaded and mount the drive with "mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda"
 then chroot to /mnt/hda.. at that point you will have the intimate
prompt. For running the Xserver that way check the mail archives.. I
detailed a chroot how-to there. You will have to stop your gpe or opie
display before chrooting to intimate.
