Further on the New Install Process

As you can see from my last post, I am a little stuck on the grey screen
with the x on it.

So far I have been using USBnet to get things and install them, and
while I had a user interface on the iPaq that was great. However, I do
not have that anymore, and there is no way to either ssh, or telnet into
the ipaq. It would be a good idea to include either the ssh daemon or a
telnet daemon on install so that one could connect. I typically have
used the serial connection to simply configure usbf and then switch to
usbnet and ssh. So, now I must rely on ppp (something I haven't
configured in literally years) in order to be able to download enough
additional stuff to get a UI. I haven't seen anywhere in the
instructions what you need to do in order to get ppp going. Should I
follow the Familiar instructions?

I hope my seemingly never ending drivel on this is not driving you
people too nuts. I am honestly trying to help as a user who is
relatively new to Linux on the iPaq and trying (hard as hell) to install
intimate. Because in it's current state, my iPaq is relatively useless
:-)
