The flash isn't big enough to store them all, so PocketPC uses some of
the RAM to store most programs/data. Since the kernel doesn't know about
this, it just writes over it all.
I have no idea if it's possible to work around this - maybe having a CF
card for PocketPC would mean it could use that for storage, or maybe you
can tell the kernel to not use the PPC bits of RAM. You'd really want to
