re: installation issues update

Ok, finaly able to install and followed the instructions to the letter
and all seemed well.
BUT, now it won't boot. I searched the archives and tried everything
that was said. Entering the following in the hyperterminal "set
linuxargs "noinitrd root=/dev/mtdblock1 init=/linuxrc.intimate"". I even
created a "params" file within /boot with the same argument with
"console=ttySAO" appended to the end. And I ended up with a loop of text
at the boot saying:

[: No such file or directory
[: No such file or directory
[: No such file or directory
[: No such file or directory

What would you like to do?
CAL = INTIMATE (normal)
TEL = FAMILIAR
  Q = INTIMATE using the BIND method
--> = REBOOT

It just kept repeating.
I've tried and tried and can't seem to get it. Does it have something to
do with the Microdrive being Reiser FS and not readable at boot?
