No this is completely impossible, it will only work on an IBM Microdrive
and there only on the 1GB version ;-)

Sorry for making fun of you, it of cause works on any compatible storege
device with enough capacity. For now this are all CF/PCMCIA storage
cards that emulate an IDE drive (CF card, microdrive, toshiba PCMCIA
harddrive, and even my ancient pcmcia2ide card). Later on it might work
with SD cards, too (only in 38xx. it does not work now, because the SD
slot is used in MMC mode and MMC does only support 64MB).
