Well, for some reason my kernel disappeared, so I had to reinstall
Familiar. I took the opportunity to upgrade to 0.5.1; the 2.4.7 kernel
that was in 0.5.0 was so buggy it wasn't funny. (Random lockups when
memory got full... I eventually got round it by recompiling 2.4.16,
which was a total pain.)
Of course, Intimate requires a 2.4.7 kernel, so the installation process
doesn't work any more.
Is there any way I can install on my 0.5.1 system, or am I going to have
to downgrade to 0.5, install Familiar, install Intimate, hope it doesn't
lock up, recompile my kernel, hope it doesn't lock up, and then sometime
next week reboot it and see if it works...
