Hi there.

AFAIK, your Cisco card should work fine. I'm not sure if the drivers are
packaged up for familiar, but I suspect that they are. If not, then someone
on #handhelds.org on irc is bound to have them.
IPV6 support shouldn't be an issue either, as it's not a hardware specific
thing... just a bit of the kernel. Once again, I'm not sure if IPV6 support
is included/packaged, but it's gonna be fairly easy to add if it's not..
just as long as you don't mind compiling kernels.

With just the single sleeve, and your wireless card, you should be able to
get intimate over NFS working. I've had this running myself, as have a few
other people.... The gotchas here are 1.) Swap space and 2.) speed...

If you're gonna splash out on a microdrive+dual sleeve, then you can install
intimate onto the hdd instead, and gain some performance/portability.

At the moment tho' 5Gb 1.8" PCMCIA cards are around at similar prices to 1GB
microdrives... if you don't need CF format, then I'd be inclined to go for
the extra space..

As for intimate itself.. .the installer is ever so slightly broken at the
moment... It installs everything fine, with the exception of the
intimateboot.ipk package.. You have to do that bit yourself.

Hi,
I am really new to this group and as a matter of fact, I installed my
Familiar just a couple of days ago.
I haven't read all the archived messages, but based on what I browsed, I
noticed that I will face some trouble to do what I want to do.
Anyway, to make things as painless as possible, please give me your advise.

This is what I have:
I have an H3650 with Familiar 0.5 installed. 99% full. I have Cisco aironet
340 wireless card. Single sleeve jacket.

This is what I would like to do:
I would like to have wireless connectivity and some more space (of course).
Also IPv6 protocol, if available from Familiar/Intimate.

What should I get now? dual sleeve jacket and a microdrive? What kind of
problems am I facing here?
As I said, I am just a couple of days experienced with this.
I will look forward to receiving your help.
