intimateboot_0.2-2_arm.ipk wracked my ipaq

Hi,

I've just installed intimateboot_0.2-2 from the unstable feed (as the
version number is the same, this should be the same as in the.5 release)
And it does funny things to my root partiton (it still assumes it is the
params partiton)
Could someone PLEASE remove/fix intimateboot, it writes directly to the
root partition using dd, and i think this is a very bad idea.

BTW: I well happily running familiar 0.5 with an upgraded 2.4.16 kernel
     and the 2.17.0 bootloader. Did not have the time to test a lot, but
     neiter pyditor nor pikpak worked.
     Unfortunately I installed intimateboot with out a connection to a
     PC and don't have any errolog, after the dd backto mdtblock0 my
     ipaq was forzen and a reset did bring back ion but the "mouse" does
     not work, neither do my wireless cards nor the suspend button.
     
     Redo from start?
