Hi
,
This is probably not where I should be posting this,
but I don't know if its a Blackdown or Intimate problem.
I have Intaimate installed on my iPAQ and tried to install
the BlackDown 1.3.1 jre from the tarball. The intall seems
to be ok but if I try even to do a java -version it spits back this
*** panic: GC: getStickySystemClass failed: java/lang/ref/Reference

The rt.jar file is on my CLASSPATH. If I look at the trace using
java -verify -verifygc -cs I can see that the jar files are opened and
the class java.lang.ref.Reference is loaded.!!!!!!
Does anyone have any ideas or should I try the BlackDown FAQ???
Thanks,
Daryl
