Font Window problems

Hi ,
I have manged to get intimate installed on my iPAQ
but I am having problems with trying to run either KDE
or Gnome. I can start KDE or Gnome but the font sizes are huge.
Whenever I open a window it is off the screen and any
buttons at the bottom of the dialogs are inaccessible.

I think its the X configuration but I don't know how to fix it.
The font size looks to be about 12 . Any help in getting this
fixed would be much appreciated.
