Another interesting solution to install intimate onto the microdrive is
to mount a remote nfs partition containing the whole intimate
installation tgz (which can be snagged off of the intimate nfs page) and
just untar it into the mount, then update the packages on it.
Or if a laptop is available, you can sneak it into the pcmcia slot and
do the whole installation from the laptop before even sticking it in the
iPAQ.
I've done both methods and it really saves quite a bit of time.
