Hi,

I have been able to install the familiar 0.4 distribution on my IPAQ.
I have downloaded the tar file of the complete intimate distribution and
copied it to a 128MB compact flash card which
has an ext2 file system. I am able to mount this after booting the familiar
distribution.

If this is a complete intimate distribution, then I want to able to mount
this partition as my root
partition but it is a pcmcia based disk, and the standard familiar kernel
does not support this until
a module has been loaded.

Is there a kernel for intimate which will enable me to change the linuxargs
to have root=/dev/hda1, or what is the best
way to achieve this.

I do not have the luxury of a lan card to install via the network and also
due to firewall problems, using the ppp option has
proved difficult via the serial port.

Thanks for any help.
