Truetype fonts?

What's the status of truetype font support in intimate? I recall that
it "just worked" under some previous incarnation of Familiar. Perhaps
that's the case with intimate too, if I put the ttfs in the right place
(where would that be?).

I tried running xfstt, but xset fp+ doesn't seem to like any of the
combinations of unix/:7101 that I tried. (But there's definitely someone
listening on 7101.)
