I really hope someone can help me fix this. I'm trying to get Intimate
installed on an iPAQ 3670 with a 16mb flash, a dual-pcmcia sleeve, a
wavelan card, and a 1GB Microdrive. I started with the installation of
Intimate from scratch, following the instructions at
http://www.handhelds.org/z/wiki/Linux2.4.6 and on the Intimate
installation page. I used the kernel image
'zImage-2.4.6-rmk1-np2-devfs', and the root image
'task-bootstrap-2.4.6-rmk1-np2-devfs-hh4.jffs2'. I had to install the
pcmcia and kernel modules serperately, but I got the thing to boot
finally detecting both cards in the sleeve and talking over the network
through the wavelan card. I still haven't gotten X to work, but I'm not
really concerned with that. What I am concerned with is that I've
gotten Intimate to install with no errors, and the linuxargs changed
successfully, but it fails to boot. The following are the boot messages
that I think are relevant:
VFS: Mounted root (jffs2 filesystem).

Once it switches to runlevel 2, it loads everything fine again. It's
just that for some reason Intimate won't do it. Does anyone know how to
get it to work?
