Problems with MP3 streaming and KDE

Hi,

I'm using my iPAQ with the intimate over nfs. After dealing with some
nfs problems, it works quite good now, sometimes it's a little bit
slow.

I'd like to run KDE but I encounter several problems:
"apt-get install task-kde" stops with an error message saying that
some necessary packages are not available
"apt-get install kde-base" works and KDE starts up. The problem is
there is no taskbar to start applications,... so I'm not able to use
it.
Does anybody have some hints?

Furthermore I tried to run xmms and play MP3s but without success
there's only silence. If I play WAV files with xmms everything is
fine. mpg123 doesn't work too, but madplay works fine with MP3 but
supports no streaming.
Are there any other MP3 clients which support streaming?

Florian
