I have loaded a bunch of stuff on the intimate distribution,
and all works fine. I have a minor suggestion about pppd,
though.
In /etc/ppp/options, perhaps the following could be added:
# this causes PPPD to make the host computer the default target for
# IP addresses outside this machine
defaultroute
# this causes PPPD to wait until it receives a packet from the host PPPD
# daemon before sending any packets. Hopefully this will avoid the
# "serial line is looped back" problem. Thanks to Michael Beach via

I've put together a document on how to install TrollTech's Qt
Palm environment under the intimate distribution. It's at
http://www.cardiothink.com/QPE-on-iPAQ-intimate-distribution.html
If you have time to look at it, please let me know of any
problems or suggestions.
