There is not so much trick to do.
The basic steps are:
- Install a familiar 0.4 to your ipaq.
- Install the files to your ipaq, which are required to intimate
- Edit your newly installed linuxrc file to load the pcmcia modules
instead of the ide modules and configure the pcmcia ethernet card
properly (ifconfig, route OR dhcp), and mount the filesystem over
NFS (don't forget to add "nolock" option as a mount option).
- You can modify fstab also, if you want cleaner solution
- Get the intimate .tar.gz from the intimate site
- Unpack it to your host computer.
- Edit /etc/exports on your host computer
- restart the nfs server on your host computer
- Reboot ipaq and check serial console for messages, and fix if
something is wrong.
