Handheld Device Support Summary

This page tracks all devices for which Linux ports exist, or in planning. This includes both ports hosted on Handhelds.org, or elsewhere.

Everyone is welcome to keep this global list up to date by adding latest news and ports.

If you are a developer and wish to help out on one of the existing projects, click the "Work in progress" link next to the device below and contact the relevant people, or post a message on the appropriate mailing list.

Note on the naming convention: Vendors often release the same device model under different marketing names. Or, they release device series which differ only in the aspects not affecting the device architecture, like CPU frequency or extra peripherals. In this case, there is a single port which covers all devices in the series. Per historical convention, zeroes are used as wildcard to "convert" series name to port name. As an example, HP iPaq h4150 & h4350 devices are covered by h4000 port. Port authors, please adhere to this naming convention, it is important to both support all devices in series, and emphasize this fact by using port, not device names.

Hardware support status letter codes (where applicable) (see PortingProjectFrontpageTemplate for more information):
