Gpe-Firewall Brief Overview
Section 1- Accessing and The basics

The GpeShield is available online at http://www.handhelds.org/feeds/unstable/gpe-shield_0.6_arm.ipk. Once Downloaded and installed, It is available in the Settings Folder.
NOTE: The firewall application is included in the base image in familiar .8 and above.

There are four default rules. A description of the buttons from left to right:
1. Apply- Apply the highlighted rule
2. Add- Add your own rule
3. Remove- Remove highlighted rule
4. Properties- Edit highlighted rule

More functions are available in the menu:
File:
Open- Open A rule Set
Save- Save a rule Set
Close- Exit the application
Rules:
Add- Add your own rule
Edit- Edit a rule
Delete- Delete a rule
Info- View info on the rule
Apply- Apply the rule
Help-
Index- Opens help website
About- Show general information
Section 2- Creating a new rule

To creat a new rule use the add button. You can then ajust the parameters:
Name- Name of the rule
Direction- The direction of the traffic, incoming, outgoing, or forwarded.
Action- What to do, Accept, Block, or Drop
Protocal- Either TCP, UDP, ICMP, or all
Source Port- The port of origonation
Destination Port- The port of destination
When finished tap ok.

The configuration tab has an option to start network control on login.
