For the last three months, The Filmlot's promotion has given filmmakers the
opportunity to win free software by simply networking with their peers. The
result is a database full of networking contacts and three filmmakers eager
to begin using their new software.

The promotion, called The Networker Giveaway, was for the launch of the
site's online networking application. The application allows filmmakers to
search for contacts with specific skills anywhere in the US and Canada. A
few menu selections could help users find a Director in Austin, a
Cinematographer in Tampa or even a Composer in Montréal ... all for free.

Users who signed up before October 20th were entered into a drawing where
they had a chance to win the latest filmmaking software from Apple,
Entertainment Partners and Final Draft. Hundreds of filmmakers signed up in
anticipation of winning and recently the announcement came in The Filmlot's
newsletter.

The winners of the promotion were: Marc Morissette from Los Angeles,
California, who won Apple's Final Cut Studio, Michael Peluso ,also from Los
Angeles, California, who won Entertainment Partners' Budgeting and
Scheduling software and Brian Moody from Phoenix, Arizona, who won Final
Draft's Scriptwriter's Suite.

Michael Cerda, Founder of The Filmlot, attributes much of the promotion's
success to Apple, Entertainment Partners and Final Draft. "They're great
companies. Their cooperation has helped us with our mission to support new
and independent filmmakers," says Cerda.
