Apostolos Campus Ministry to Appear with International Audience at
MissionFest Toronto 2007
(PRWeb) February 26, 2007 -- Apostolos Campus Ministry International will be
among 200 some Christian organizations actively participating in MissionFest
Toronto 2007. Following the MissionFest Toronto 2007 theme, "We Speak To
Nations!" Apostolos Campus Ministry will publicly share its ministry's
efforts to deliver the Gospel message to college students, contributing to
the knowledge base and experience of global, national, and local missions as
a whole.
With the diverse and readily accessible city of Toronto as a backdrop,
mission organizations of an international variety are encouraged to join
MissionFest Toronto 2007. The inclusion of international, national, local
mission groups of all denominations, powerful keynote speakers (Franklin
Graham, Ravi Zacharias, Dr. Samuel Kamaleson, and Musyoki Muindi, to name a
few) and three special master seminars (on Africa, India, and the First
Nations), will surely add to this year's events, which will prove historic
to the development of Christianity.
"Apostolos Campus Ministry is proud to be involved in this gathering that
both celebrates and promotes worldwide missions," Kevin Jeffreys, an
Apostolos Campus Ministry spokesperson, said on Friday. "Throughout this
three-day event, Apostolos Campus Ministry aspires to unite with the will
and Spirit of God as it moves in the Christian community and the world
today."
Apostolos Campus Ministry involvement in world mission activity has been on
the rise--the ministry has capped recent growth with the inclusion of the
120th country with campuses in the Apostolos Campus Ministry international
network. Leadership gatherings and frequent interaction with mission
organizations on a national scale add to the impact that Apostolos Campus
Ministry members have on their national mission scenes. At individual
campuses, Apostolos Campus Ministry also strives to raise Christian
awareness and serve local communities. Therefore, Apostolos Campus Ministry
is having an influence on all levels of Christian mission.
"Whether measured internationally, individually, or on any range in between,
Apostolos Campus Ministry work ties into the overall Mission Statement of
MissionFest Toronto: Missions... Here and to the Ends of the Earth!" said
Jeffreys. "From evangelism, to providing basic Bible studies to
non-believers, to training future world missions leaders, Apostolos Campus
Ministry is dedicated to using its resources to serve the Great Commission
of Jesus Christ."
"Apostolos Campus Ministry's choice to be involved in MissionFest Toronto
2007 will be beneficial to all parties involved, as Christians join together
in facing the challenge to speak the Gospel message of Jesus to all
nations!"
