Hi,

I reinstalled linux on my TC1000 using Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy gibbon).
Works great. Install could be performed just using a usb-stick and
internet connection.

I fixed some ubuntu-related bug in my fpi2000.sh pen-enabler
shell-script and also stumbled into some problems with the X-driver.

Attached you'll find installation notes (including up-to-date links to
the required files. No kernel module compilation&installation is
required any more.

regards,

David
