once you have running Linux with reasonable recent kernel (2.6.11 with
knoppix 3.x will suffice, 5.x knoppixes also good, other distros will
probably be also good) then you can just use kernel support for battery,
which contains some good battery information.

Kernel support provides proper file within 'proc' filesystem:

Damn... pretty bad... "last full" is too low

But generally, when you compile kernel and turn on battery support, all
