I installed Ubuntu using the HP external USB disc that came with the
TC1000 when we bought it.
My only problem was getting the pen going. This I did with the fpi2000
module and the tc1k driver from Zachary from this list. Neither of
which were on the Ubuntu CD.
If Ubuntu worked then maybe (probably) Debian will work too. But it may
be the HP disc, tho it is a scsi USB disc too.
