Hello,
great, thanks :) One thing I don't understand. In section 'The nVidia
driver' Tomas talks about using via-agp module. Why to use it? I think
there is no AGP bus in TC1000. The geforce2go is PCI card. Or am I mistaken?
Also anyone got hibernation = swsuspend version 1 or 2 running? Or
proper suspend/resume? If yes which drivers are needed as modules and
which of them need to be unloaded? I got partial success (i.e keyboard
sometimes working after resume) with swsusp version 1 hibernation. But
it looks nvidia driver must be unloaded (=X stopped) so it is not very
useful. I'm also sometimes greeted with disabled interrupt #9 after
resume so no usb and unfortunately no network either (gentoo 2.6.10-r7).
Anyone solved this?
Also anyone got svgalib apps working (dosemu,xaos,..)? With vesafb-tng
it should be possible to switch videomodes. But when using framebuffer
or svga (or nvidia) driver in svgalib config file it doesn't work good.
Either the device hangs completely and display melts into white or I see
no output and the console just stops working. In that case I can at
least use power button or ssh into machinge and shutdown.
Also how to generate proper /etc/fb.modes for graphics modes that are
enabled by vesafb-tng?
Thanks for any tips.
