I just finished installing Suse 9.2 on my Tc1000. Got the pen working,
on screen keyboard, wireless, dual head video... There is an updated
version of fpi2002 I found for the 2.6 kernel which actually worked.
http://groundstate.ca/files/fpi2002-0.5.tar.gz . I can't remember if I
had to modify the Makefile or not, but you might want to check it and
make sure all the paths are correct. Also there is no need to use a
"hacked" driver once you get the module installed as Xfree86 and X11.org
both have a driver called fpit. I will be writing a little article about
Suse/Novell Desktop 9.2 within the next few days. I know your message
was kinda old, but just in case you still needed some help I thought I
would share some of my experience with Suse and the 2.6 kernel.
