Red Hat Linux 9 just works

Hello all,

After a week of struggling with Debian Linux, and all the lack of
support for the devices and interfaces in the TC1000, I went out and
bought Red Hat Linux 9.

As I am writing this (on another computer, of course), Red Hat is being
installed onto my TC1000. No fuss, no muss, it just works.

I am sure it will require a few tweaks after installation, like to get
the pen working, but it sure is a relief to have this OS simply
install, rather than have all the hassles reported by others on the Web.

Perhaps the TC1000-Linux Web Site could be updated to show that Red Hat
Linux 9 is much, much, much easier to start with?
