The X driver tc1k_drv.o has no support for the 3 soft buttons.
But if you'd want to try the KDrive Mini X server, the Xvesa at
http://handhelds.org/~mallum/tabletpc/tabletpc-tc1000-debian-notes.txt
has the support for the 3 tc1000 soft buttons! I just tried it
and the buttons work :-)

Adding support for the 3 soft buttons to the X driver shoudn't be too
hard, just check the SOFT_BUTTON flag and x, y position from the
digitizer which will be a little bit off-screen.
